AI in Schools: Ready for the Leap?

Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom?

That sounds a bit controversial! Almost as controversial as the question, "Internet in the classroom?"

Yes, I have been in education long enough to remember having this conversation and everyone was worried about how it would change the landscape of education.

Back then when were just struggling to get a computer lab with stable internet. A lot has changed over the years, but one thing remains the same. Teachers NEED the training to make this request happen.

I am all for using technology in a manner that helps our students learn and grow. I am all for having teachers use AI to lighten the loads that over burden them. But, I REALLY hope that this mandate comes with support.

I have seen so many initiatives given to educators with very little support, so let's hope this one get the support it deserves. My hope is that we are educating our kids for careers that we don't even know exist! We need problem solvers and students who can overcome challenges!

I am learning about AI each day and am using it to reduce my own workload with the students that I tutor.

How are you using AI in your business? I would LOVE to hear from you!

As I have been learning, I have been creating content for the members in the Tech Hub for Tutors and sharing my own experiences with them to help support them with their tutoring businesses!

All of the feedback has been great! So, I know it is working! You are welcome to join our growing membership to stay sharp and stay on top of the tech needs of today's educators!

Stay tuned for my big announcement! I will be a guest at an AI Conference for Educators! Details will be sent to your inbox SOON!

Tech Coach for Tutors

I am a seasoned educator and reading specialist, empowering struggling readers from Kindergarten to Sixth Grade through evidence-based methods rooted in the Science of Reading. I personalize instruction, blending phonics, decoding, spelling, writing, and comprehension, fostering significant reading achievement. I have helped over 40 families move their child forward with their learning in the last 3 years. I have an established following on my Facebook pages where parents seek information about reading and tutors seek information on how to tutor online with little to no effort. My YouTube pages continue to grow their reach, as do my social media channels on Instagram and TikTok. Beyond my direct work with students, I also equip fellow tutors in the Tech Hub for Tutors with essential digital literacy and marketing skills, maximizing their impact. I support almost 200 tutors through my digital newsletter, I have worked with nearly 50 educators in one-to-one mentoring sessions in the last two years, and I have a growing private membership in The Tech Hub for Tutors.
